Recently I have completed reading a novel "the alchemist" written by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho in 1988. It is an international best seller and has been translated to mate than 70 languages. This book is short having only of 167 pages. The main theme of the book is about the finding the treasure or destiny of one's life.

The book starts with a shepherd boy from Spain whose name is Santiago. He keeps getting the same ream about the treasure which are lying in the pyramids of Egypt. He embarks on a journey to follow his dream after meeting an old king who offers him magic stone and advice. Santiago crosses the mediterrian and Sahara to find the treasures in the Egypt and also accomplish his personnel legend which us his purpose in life. The book details the journey and the various encounter that he experiences while following his dream. Throughout the journey, he met various people and lot of difficulty which helps him to learn and grow in this entire way. The quotes I like the most in this book is "there is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
